Gary Valenciano, also known as Gary V, is a Filipino singer, dancer, musician, and actor. He was born on August 6, 1964, in Santa Mesa, Manila, Philippines.
Valenciano started his music career in the 1980s, releasing his debut album “Gary V” in 1983. He quickly gained popularity in the Philippines with his upbeat and catchy pop songs, earning the nickname “Mr. Pure Energy” for his energetic performances on stage.
Throughout his career, Valenciano has released numerous albums and hit songs, including “Di Bale Na Lang”, “Hataw Na”, “Shout for Joy”, and “Take Me Out of the Dark”. He has won multiple awards for his music, including Awit Awards, Star Awards for Music, and PMPC Star Awards for Music.
